Welcome to the website of the new Youth Orchestra UK!

YOUK is a brand new orchestra catering for the musical needs of Youths between the ages of 14 and 22. It aims to identify individual musical skills and encourage and enhance these qualities both personally and as a team member, culminating in the production of the highest possible performance standards.

YOUK has a team of highly experienced and innovative tutors and conductors whose job it is to bring out the best in our members and encourage them to perform to the highest professional standards.

Prospective candidates are invited to audition for membership to Youth Orchestra UK. Our aim is to prepare young instrumentalists for a potential professional musical career, and to point them in the right direction at the appropriate time. At the same time, we also encourage those who look upon playing as a much loved hobby as well!

Unlike other orchestras across the UK which only meet on residential courses at great expense, Youth Orchestra UK meets once a month in a central location, thus providing the members the opportunity to meet on a more regular basis.
